The paper explores how fisheries-dependent data (FDD) can be used to support more adaptive, responsive, and evidence-based fisheries management - bringing science closer to real-time decision-making.
This Document is comprised of an original and updated text, picking up on the document presented to SCAR Fish in 2022. The updated document was required because of developments in the subject area (including the publication of the Control regulation). The updated recommendations from SCAR Fish have been brought forward to the recommendations section on Page 5 so that reader can access the updated conclusions of this work without having to read both texts
